Beginning Prayer:
Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
Theme of the Night:
You are mine!
Songs of the Night:
It was two nights before Christmas Eve. I could not believe how many people showed up tonight. There must have been a ton of things are their “To Do List.,” but there we all were packed out and gathered around in Janine’s living room. There were familiar faces; there were new faces. Some of our members couldn’t make it, but their presence and their hearts filled that room.
That night was very personal to each of us. We all came with a battle in our own hearts. Jesus met us exactly where we all were. “He wanted to create in us a new heart,” Gerry said. It was such confirmation of the first thought that came to my mind when I sat down and placed my heart at the center of this prayer meeting. When my husband died three years ago, I sent a broken heart emoji to Janine. It was my way of telling her he had passed away. The following year I sent a broken heart along with the heart emoji with a bandaid around it a two years later to show that although my heart was once broken, it had started to heal. As I sat in the chair that night, I could visually see three hearts this time. The broken heart -> the bandaid heart -> a full red heart. These hearts represent not only my transformation, but all of our transformations once we gave our YES to Jesus.
God loves you exactly where you are. He battles for you. He knocks on the doors of your heart, inviting you into His sacred heart and waits for you to invite and welcome Him into yours. God is coming for you. He is coming for your mind, your soul, and your heart. Tonight, as so often, was another night of YES.
Welcome Jesus. Come Holy Spirit. Give Him permission. Say YES to the joy of the Lord. You belong to Him.
With God, all things are possible.
The feeling we felt that night, we needed to carry on into our everyday lives. Rise up new! Spread your peace, your transformation, and Jesus’s heart with everyone you encounter. YOU ARE HIS! Who is the Lord to you?
There was incredible peace in the room that night. The stillness of the Lord, the wind of the Spirit flowed into all of our hearts no matter how broken they felt at the time, and eventually the songs of praise could not be hidden inside anymore. SHOUT THE TO LORD ~ Forever we will stand. There wasn’t an enemy in that room. The joy, the peace, and the holiness that elevated when we were together was so powerful. Jesus was in our midst. All of our prayers. Now we will take this with us. We will say His name. Our praise changes everything. We were meant for this.

The King is now ALIVE! Welcome Baby Jesus. Jesus told me that this is why he came down to Earth with us. To teach us, to heal us, to bring us together. He is with YOU always. No else but Him. Trust Him. If you can’t get quiet, if you don’t know what to pray or what to say, if you feel lost, just put on music. Praise Jesus, feel His voice through lyric and instrument.
